Want To Join?

Joining a fraternity is an awesome experience and some say that the process was one of the best times they had in college. There are three stages every person goes through on their way to becoming a brother. They are as follows:

Prospective Stage: Prospectives are men who may be interested in joining, but need to learn more about the fraternity. This is the time when they go around and experience Greek culture and choose which organization is right for them. Hopefully they will make the right decision and choose Triangle. Then they are encouraged to meet and spend time with the brothers so they get to know the Triangle way of life. A few weeks into the semester, a prospective member will receive a formal bid if the active brothers vote that they would like him to be a part of Triangle. The bid is an invitation to become a new member of the fraternity.
New Member Stage: If the prospective member chooses to accept his bid, he goes through a ceremony called Installation where he pledges to become a brother. After this ceremony, he is now called a New Member, also known as a Pledge. The pledging process usually lasts the majority of the semester, and during this time the pledge will learn all about Triangle - both nationally and locally. This process is very beneficial for building brotherhood between the "pledge brothers" and between the pledges and the active and alumni bodies as well.
Initiation: At the end of the pledging process, if the pledge shows that he is worthy of brotherhood in Triangle by his words, actions, integrity and values, he will be initiated as a brother of Triangle. This brotherhood is the fraternal bond that lasts for the rest of your life and connects you to thousands of other Triangle brothers throughout the world.
