Andrew Paradowski Memorial
Andrew "Flounder" Paradowski left a legacy on the UWM Triangle Fraternity house. During his time as an active member of the fraternity, the bedrooms in the house had all been filled, so he drywalled a corner of the attic, creating his own bedroom. People new to the house will often ask why only one small section of the attic is finished, so we tell them the story of Flounder's Room.
The attic has come to be one of the most important areas in the UWM Triangle house, as it serves as our Chapter Room where meetings are held, our Designated Education Area where Triangles and friends meet to study and do school work, and also a general lounge for brothers to socialize and make friends. As our chapter grows in size, it is necessary to have a space in the house that is large enough to accommodate everyone, and the attic does this nicely.
In the memory of our brother Flounder, who took it upon himself to make the attic more livable, we would like to dedicate the attic to him and finish what he started. Currently the majority of the attic walls consist of dangerously flammable burlap which covers decaying fiberglass insulation. The roof leaks in some places and the windows are not fully framed-in. In order to make the attic a truly nice place to be, we would like to replace the insulation and finish covering the walls with drywall. Unfortunately, our chapter currently does not have the funds to make this a reality. If you would like to help us financially with this cause, we would greatly appreciate it, and your name will be added to the memorial plaque we plan to hang once the attic is completed.
As a reminder, the UWM Triangle House is always open to every current and past member of our chapter.
